Day two of the National Prep Showcase, held at Albertus Magnus College, is in the book as Adam Finkelstein has worked very hard to bring in some of the best prep schools around the country. Here are 10 prospects who shined and gave it their all on the court.

Trey McGowens – Class of 2019 – Hargrave Military Academy

McGowens, a South Carolina native, contributed 19 points (7-8) for his team as they took the victory over St. Thomas More. The 6-foot-4 guard attacked the basket as he used his change of pace to throw his defenders off balance. McGowens claimed offers from Kansas State, NC State, Clemson, TCU, and St. John’s.

Anfernee Simons – Class of 2018 – IMG Academy

With NBA scouts in attendance both days, Simons picked up his performance in the second half and had an overall solid outing today as he scored 21 points against Scotland Campus. Simons shot over smaller defenders and got to the basket whenever he wanted. He told Elevate Hoops that he would consider going pro.

Kevin Zhang – Class of 2018 – Montverde Academy CBD

The class of 2018 prospect shined as he showed off his versatility in the matchup against New Hampton School. Zhang scored 25 points (courtesy of Chick Gillespie) and set strong picks for his teammates as they took advantage. He stated offers from UCLA and DePaul with interest from Washington.

Ikcaven “KK” Curry – Class of 2019 – St. Thomas More

At 6-foot-5, “KK” has shown his freakish athleticism and overall competiveness back-to-back days. He displayed his aggressiveness inside and he excelled in transition. “KK” has offers from MTSU, South Alabama, UAB, and Chattanooga. He has interest from Tennesse and Vanderbilt.

Max Lorca – Class of 2019 – Northfield Mount Hermon

The NMH and PSA Cardinal product was outstanding for his team as he flirted with a double-double (18pts & 9rbs). Lorca cleaned up everything around the basket and rebounded extremely well on both ends of the floor. He stated that he might visit UConn or Baylor during his Thanksgiving break.
