6-foot-6 athletic wing Nassir Little had a terrific spring as he has emerged to one of the most sought after recruits in the country. As his stock has shot up, he touched his recent visit to St. John’s and with July coming up; he discussed his thoughts on schools that are involved, future visits, and his overall academics.

He spoke on this past spring and how it has helped his recruitment.

“The spring was really good for me,” said Little. “It was really fun and I got to improve my recruitment,” he added.

The four-star prospect recently took a visit to St. John’s and described what it was like getting to see Madison Square Garden.

“They play at Madison Square Garden so I got to see that and they were showing me things that I mostly wouldn’t see so it was really nice and it was pretty good (be) cause there’s a lot of history in that gym. The campus was small and regular so that was pretty nice. The part I liked about it was they had this little part where you could see the 9/11 Memorial and that was my favorite part about it.”

He expressed his thoughts with the Johnnies staff and head coach Chris Mullin.

“Oh yeah, we’re pretty close; I talk to coach Matt (Abdelmassih) a lot and Chris Mullin likes my game.”

Aside from St. John’s, Little stated programs that have been in touch the most with him.

“Florida State, Florida, Miami, (North) Carolina, Kansas, Virginia Tech, and others.”

With Little having a having a 4.3GPA, academics will be a factor in his college decision. He is also thinking about what he wants to major in as well.

“Schools I consider, usually have good academics,” Little said. “I do but I tend to jump around so I’m still trying to figure that out but right now I want to go into sports medicine,” he said when asked about his plans for his major.

The class of 2019 wing told me he has only one official planned to Georgia Tech.
