Michigan has landed the commitment of 2018 wing Adrien Nunez of St. Thomas More & Born Ready Elite, he tells Elevate Hoops.
“Ann Arbor felt like a real city which was comfortable for me being that I’m from NYC,” Nunez said about his decision. “The coaches were really straight forward and direct with how they see me on the team and my progression.”
Nunez enjoyed his visit there, as everything seemed to have met his standards both on and off the court.
“It’s one of the top public universities in the country and they just won the Big 10. The facilities are top of the line, their playing style really suits mine, and it was just overall a great fit.”
When it came to Nunez’s recruitment, he didn’t have any interest or offers back in June. Now, he describes what he feels like he will bring to the Wolverines.
“Well, they have been comparing me and my future progression a lot to Tim Hardaway. So, I think as I develop in this upcoming year, I will be a capable big guard who can shoot it, play hard, handle ball screens and be athletic in the lane.”
