Class of 2020 stud Jaemyn Brakefield of Huntington Prep was absolutely dominant against Matur Maker and CIBA. The Mississippi native showed his ability to score on all three levels as he recorded 29 points and earned player of the game. As his shot looked inconsistent in the first half, he started to get it going in the second half where he racked up a good majority of his points.

“Pretty good and I had to pick it up in the second half to get my the win,” said Brakefield when asked about his performance.

When asked about what he is currently working on to in terms of his game, he stated, “Just keep on being a leader, get my handles better and gotta fix everything to be great.”

He briefly spoke about his recruitment and gave a comment about each visit he has taken.

“Recently I picked up ten offers and it’s starting to blow up this year,” said Brakefield.

Kentucky: “Good and just keep working and they’ll keep watching.”

Ohio State: “They’ll be watching me and keep doing my thing.”

Ole Miss: “I’m from there and it feels like family and they’ll keep watching.”
