Class of 2018 forward Jaedon LeDee has cut his list to eight programs: Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Ohio State, LSU, Houston, Iowa State, California, and UCLA. The four-star prospect, who is known for his strong body frame and his ability to dominate inside, briefly spoke about each school and what stood out to him the most overall.
Ohio State: “Ohio State has a new staff and has been on me since they were at Butler. They want me to come in and be an impact guy. A lot of their offense runs thru the four, which is great.”
Texas A&M: “They want me to come in and have a chance to play from the start. Be able to fill in that 4/3 role. They have been with me since the 8th grade so they really know my game.”
UCLA: “UCLA, I like the weather and California in general but the basketball side would like me to come in and play the forward position and to come in and play with a good team and other good players.”
LSU: “LSU wants me to come in and impact the forward position and play thru and with me. Also, I have family roots out there as well.”
Iowa State: “Iowa State wants to use my versatility in their offense and come in and be ready when I get to campus.”
Houston: “Houston, the hometown team has been with me for a while too and wants me to come in and play. Use all my assets of my game to win and be a super impact.”
California: “They want me to come and have an impact right away paying both forward positions and using my versatility. Also, it’s Cali.
Oklahoma: “Same thing they want to use me in both forward positions and be apart of a good team.”
The Texas native currently has four official visits set, as he seems to be in no rush to make his final decision.
“OSU 9/9, California 9/16, LSU 9/30, UCLA 10/16,” said LeDee when asked about his plans for visits. He also stated that he doesn’t have a time line when it comes to his college decision.
