About a year or two ago, people really weren’t familiar with the name Immanuel Bates. Now, many high major programs are prioritizing the four-star big man and as his stock blew up this past July, he earned multiple high major offers. The Team Felton product has narrowed his list to seven programs as he broke down each school.
NC State: “Since they are losing all their post players this year, they want me to start from day one and have an impact from the start.”
Louisville: “Louisville told me that I will have to play immediately and I'll be playing on such a high scale that I will be getting that recognition just for playing for them.”
DePaul: “DePaul wants me to come in and be the man coming in along with Tyger Campbell and raise the program back up.”
GA Tech: “Georgia Tech wants me to come in and replace their current big man once he leaves this year and have the opportunity to start and be the man.”
South Carolina: “Pretty much the same as Georgia Tech, they want me to come in for their big man this year and have an impact as a freshman.”
Xavier: “Come in and be an impact player from the jump, being that they will only have one post player at the four (position) so I may play the five.”
Georgetown: “Told that I was their top priority as a post player, wanting me to have that impact on the defensive end and continue working on the offensive side.”
The 6-foot-9 big man stated he doesn’t have any official visits setup as of right now but plans to set them in late August or early September.
