Known for his versatility and high motor, four-star forward Darius Days has narrowed his list to five schools: UNC, LSU, Louisville, Xavier, and Ohio State. He broke down each program and told Elevate Hoops his four official visits.

LSU: “I have a great relationship with coach Greg (Heiar) and coach (Will) Wade and they’ve been on me everyday and we talk mostly everyday. If I go to LSU, I’ll be going in with a great group of guys. They already got Tremont Waters; Javonte Smart committed a couple of weeks ago. I just like that mostly and the opportunity to play early.”

Louisville: “Come in and they’re going to develop me to the best player I can be. I got a great relationship with coach Jordan (Fair). I talk to coach (Rick) Pitino a little bit. I don’t know, it’s just the atmosphere there. Its just Louisville; Hall of Fame coach and that’s big.”

UNC: "I talk to coach Roy (Williams) and coach Hubert (Davis) a lot. It’s just the way he (Roy Williams) talks to you. He’s not one of those coaches that tell you fake dreams. He just comes to you man-to-man and just talk about real life stuff and just tells me how he’s going to develop me and he’s just a real down to earth man and he’s very respectable. Other than being a coach, he’s a great guy."

Xavier: “I got a great relationship with the coaching staff and it’s the same with all of the other schools. Its just development; play early; very early and its just the same with the other schools that’s in my top five.”

Ohio State: “Playing early. Coach (Ryan) Pedon and I talk mostly every other day and it’ll be their second year if I go there and it’s just a new staff because they came from Butler.”

The 6-foot-7 Florida Vipers forward has set four official visits: Louisville: 9/15, Ohio State, 9/22, UNC 10/6, LSU 10/13.

Days spoke on why the Musketeers haven’t been scheduled yet.

“I have really set a date for Xavier yet; we’re working on that so I'll get back to you later with that.”

He plays to commit on his birthday, October 20th.
