2018 guard Chance Moore has signed with Wichita State, he tells Elevate Hoops.
“I just think they are a staff that can build me for the NBA and structure me into the man and player I need to be and its family around them they are a very closed knit group,” said Moore.
At 6-foot-9, Moore took his official visit back in October as he chose the Shockers over Virginia Tech and Dayton.
“It was just a live campus and everyone was so homey and friendly,” said Moore about his visit. “All of the things you need were all in your reach to be better as a person and I can achieve all my personal goals as a student and athlete.”
Beckley Prep head coach Cortez Brown has helped Moore throughout this process and was a big factor when he made his final decision.
“My coach at Beckley (Prep) helped me a lot and has been helping me since I got to Beckley and summers in Louisville,” said Moore. “He is a big factor of what made me make my decision and he has always given great advice.”
The Louisville Magic prospect feels that he can help bring the team more wins along with his scoring ability.
“I feel I can be an elite player who can get a lot of more wins for Coach (Gregg) Marshall and the team with my ability to score when the team needs it,” said Moore. “I can become a force on both ends of the court,” he added.
