Here are some guys that stood out from day two at PrimeTime Shootout, which was held in East Orange, New Jersey.


’20 Jabri Abdur-Rahim – Seton Hall Prep – Team Rio

The Seton Hall Prep wing scored 17pts and recorded the win against Hackettstown with a final of 62-44. At 6-foot-5, the New Jersey native scored on all three levels consistently and looks stronger since the summer. When it comes to his recruitment, he can go to about every high major program in the country.


’19 Joel Soriano – Archbishop Stepinac – PSA Cardinals

Soriano used his length to alter and grab rebounds on both ends of the floor. He is a great rebounder and was dominant as he 13 points inside and earned the win against St. Mary’s with a final score of 63-47. The 6-foot-9 Soriano has offers from the likes of ODU, Stony Brook, and Iona.


’18 Kenny Jones – Mater Dei – Jersey Force

The future Loyola (MD) product excelled in transition as he earned 16 points in tough loss to Immaculate Conception. With no surprise, he showed a tremendous feel for the game as he made the right passes. He also used his change of pace to get past defenders.


’19 Al-Amir Dawes – The Patrick School – NJ Playaz

Dawes shot the ball well today as he scored 22 points and connected on multiple threes. At 6-foot-2, when Dawes wasn’t shooting, he ran the floor to get easy transition points. He mentioned offers from Pitt, Seton Hall, Rutgers, DePaul, and Minnesota.


’19 Eddie Davis – Pope John XXIII – NJ Shoreshots

At 5-foot-10, Davis shot the life out of the ball as he hit six threes and recorded 22 points in a tough loss to Linden. Although he is undersized, he showed his aggressiveness and was overall a tough guard who displayed his ability to draw fouls.
