The class of 2019 has a tremendous amount of talent all throughout the country and some prospects get more recognition than others. Here are five individuals that are ready to shine in the D.C. and Virginia area.
Patrick Kelly – Virginia Episcopal School – Team Loaded VA
At 6-foot-9, Kelly mentioned that he is a versatile shooter who likes to post up and rebound every possession. In terms of his recruitment, he stated that Penn State, Purdue, and Ohio State are coming after him the hardest.
Dejean Desire – Georgetown Prep – DC Blue Devils
Desire described his skillset as he said that he is a long and athletic prospect who is also a great defender. He has a mid-range game with his perimeter shot improving. He has earned an offer from James Madison.
Carlos Dunn – Wilson High School – Bump N Run Rebels
Dunn expressed himself, as a highly energized player who brings will to a team. He continued as he stated that he is capable of scoring the ball weather it’s hitting the open shot or getting to the basket. He takes a lot of pride in defense, as he constantly wants to shut down his opponents.
Evan Buckley – Stone Bridge – DC Blue Devils
Buckley described his game as stated that he is an unselfish leader on the court who can score on all levels while getting his team involved first. He said that Bucknell, George Mason, and Delaware are recruiting him the most.
Ayan Teel – Bishop O’Connell – New World
At nearly 5-foot-9, Teel is a cerebral guard that can play on both ends of the floor. He is a floor general who can score at all three levels as is very fast with the ball while changing pace. He added that he is a great teammate and he can get the best out of his teammates.
